Transition

Students who are transitioning from East Kalgoorlie Primary School will be provided with support before, during and after their transition. 

Students will be involved in activities and programs to aid transition.  Early childhood students will continually be involved in transition.  This includes transition during the year and at the end of each year.  Individuals or groups will be sent to transition classes in Early Years Plus for extension and support.  All Early Years Plus students will be involved in transition sessions during the last 2 weeks of the year. 

Older students will be involved in school programs including Music Connect and Sports Connect.  They will also be involved in other activities in the wider Goldfields community.

Students transitioning to High School will be involved in the schools transition program, including visits to appropriate schools and academies.
