Transport Support
At East Kalgoorlie Primary School, we offer bus services for families who require support with transport. This service plays a crucial role in supporting regular attendance by providing families with reliable transportation, ensuring that children can consistently attend school and participate in their learning. While we provide this service to ensure accessibility, we also encourage families to come into the school whenever possible.

Bus Service
East Kalgoorlie Primary School’s bus service is provided by Buswest, an independent transport company. All bus drivers and wardens are employees of Buswest, not the school. The service operates under the supervision and regulations of the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia.
Bus pick-ups commence from 7:30am to ensure students arrive at school before the start of classes at 8:30am. Families using the service are expected to ensure their child is ready at their designated pick-up time each morning and that a responsible adult is present when their child is dropped off. For student safety, the bus warden must sight an adult before a student is permitted to leave the bus.
